About Eight Insights

Eight Insights is a dedicated blog site and is owned by Eight Public Relations, a power PR agency in Hong Kong. Being separate to the company blog page means we can write about areas of interest outside of public relations, enabling better curation and organisation.

The name "Eight Insights" symbolises infinity and abundance in Chinese culture, while "Insights" reflects our commitment to providing valuable, in-depth knowledge on subjects of varied interests.

Eight Insights was founded by Ivan Theodoulou, who has over 25 years of PR experience in Asia. He set up his own power / fractional PR agency (Eight PR) in Hong Kong in 2021 working with clients in the technology, legal, wealth management, and other sectors.

Ivan first visited China in 1987 as a solo traveller by train from Hong Kong to Guangzhou and has since traveled extensively throughout the country. A UK citizen, and a permanent Hong Kong resident, Ivan frequently drives in China's Greater Bay Area.
